Battletech quickdraw build1/6/2023 ![]() ![]() And usually running out of Streak or LRM ammo.if not both. Unless I get nailed quick (like a 5 PPC Stalker), I can routinely manage 2 or 3 kills and plenty of assists, but not much in the way of damage. So my Arty/Streak boat is massive fun with BAP and the new LRM values, but I'll be damned if I can hold on to ammo. Unless I'm the only mech there, I haven't been the priority target so far.Ī friend proposed a 2 gauss 6ml build for it, but to do that, have decent armor, and more than a token amount of ammo, you get down into 220xl territory for engine, which is a bit slow for my tastes. I think that's mostly a product of it being a medium to long range build, when most folks expect jaegers to be up close with ac20's or sniping with gauss. Battletech quickdraw build plus#It's almost always a 400, often 500, plus damage round for me when I take it out. It's got enough rate of fire built into it that I can generally do more damage in the same period of time than the heavy alpha strike builds I've been fighting. The arm mounts do allow me to pull of some stupid sorts of shots though. It's pretty heat efficient for what it is, but it will shut down in heavy fighting. So, I will probably ditch the mediums for more heatsinks. In practice, everyone targets the torsos before the arms. I'm playing around with ammo and heatsinks. 2 Mediums in the torso for when the arms come off (not that they have so far) and a 280xl. ![]() I picked up a Firebrand specifically so I could build a RFL-3N. ![]()
